About the Blogger
♥ Michelle ♥ and ♥ Book ♥ by Ellen Lee
hello and welcome to the blog where magic happens
I guess you can say I am a 18-year-old Asian teenager from Malaysia who secretly loves science but I like to think that I am more than that. After all, the world is too wide and full of wonderful things to limit yourself to a single identity*.
If I were to draw a mind map of my life, the three main branches would be “writing”, “books” and “music”. Whenever the world is bleak and depressing, and the inhabitants imbecilic and frustrating, I turn to these three elements and everything instantly turns better.
Contrary to popular belief, I do not have a pessimistic outlook on life. In fact, I believe that the world is truly fascinating and brilliant, so great that sometimes I wish I could transform into a singular atom to explore the world in extreme detail. The world is a wonderful place, where not-so-wonderful things happen. People get hurt, things go awry, but nice people and comfy beds also exist; and that is life. All we need is a little realism to sail through The Canal of Life safely, and that is all I’m trying to be: realistic.
Careful Confessions is 85% feelings, 9% books, 4% procrastinating products and 2% quality (and by 2% I actually mean 0% but you know, marketing strategies). Everyone has their own sanctuary; Careful Confessions is mine. It serves to keep my life in balance and is the only place where I can pour my life into. I rant emotionally about life, I record precious memories so they don’t pass me by, I wallow in self-loathing and I jot down my dreams and imaginations to create my own mental kingdom.
For more convenient contacting purposes, I am always on Twitter and you can ask me (weird) questions on Ask.fm and if you would like to know about my literary and music interests here are my Goodreads and Last.fm accounts.
*Michelle is a pure science student who has an occasional art fetish, but sometimes she is also a Herbology enthusiast studying in Hogwarts, a fruit collector in the Shire, a farmhand in District 11 of Panem, as well as a satyr residing in Narnia who has a penchant for cream cheese.

I am truly sorry to hear that you have low self esteem. I wrote this several months ago. It might help, it might not, but I would like your response to what you read. Thank you Michelle. (http://morningerection.wordpress.com/2010/08/27/the-most-beautiful-girl-in-the-world/)

Hello again, MIchelle. Your blog is so cute and cordial and I love reading your texts. I just wanted to say Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog, I have already answered your question(s) but … well. ….. I love the header and I like your layout
… and the way you are describing yourself. I don’t think that you have to have a low self-esteem because you are a really cute girl and I think it’s rather sweet how you describe yourself. Let me also ask you something: from which part of Malaysia are you from? It’s because I will maybe move to Malaysia next year! Great coincidence!

Michelle, there is an internet game of tag that is going around and I was tagged. I answered the questions and now I am tagging you. Here is my post where you will find my answers for both of the times I was tagged as well as the questions I came up with for you.
